Well, you say how do you take a normal relaxing night and turn it into something so chaotic and have something that could be very serious actually turn into something mildly funny?
well I'll tell you............
my evening begins like all others when my good friend Becky calls and I tell her to stop by for a bit. Leroy made some bean soup(that I won't touch, not because its not good but I just don't like much of anything)and I knew she would love it. She has a daughter Hannah that is exactly 1 month younger than Kalaia. They are best friends and have played together since birth. Anyway, she got here and I was showing her this site and Hannah kept trying to touch the computer and then the keyboard and, somehow though all that it just shut off. Don't have any idea how but it did. (it wasn't broken though). Then a little later Becky had her soup and was eating by the computer cuz we were all in the livingroom. She got up to get a napkin and couldn't find one so I leaned in the window that separates the two rooms to tell her it was on the table. When out of the corner of my eye I saw Hannah grab Becky's bowl. I went to grab her but to late, steaming hot, hot soup spilt everywhere. She started screaming. I threw her on the floor not knowing if it got her but her shirt was wet, so I was stripping off her clothes, when Becky came flying though the gate that blocks the hallway to see what happened. All she sees is the soup all over the rug and me taking Hannah's clothes off. She lost it. Rightly so , she knew how hot the soup was. At this point both the girls were screaming(Kalaia was because of all the commotion) I had Hannah in my arms running to the kitchen to put a cold towel on her chest to see if she was hurt, while a hysterical Becky pick up Kalaia. Bryce heard everything from downstairs and came up to see. Hannah was fine, a little red but I think that was actually from me going to grab her cuz it went away quickly and once everyone started to slow down the babies stopped crying. Thank God though because that could have been extremely serious. Finely everything settled down and I realized that I had got the soup on me. I'm fine still a little red though, and the gate Becky went though got bent backwards. We fixed it though. So we were talking and she felt so bad about the things that had happened. First the computer, then my new rug,and then the gate. The computer and gate are fine now it's my rug that took beating. I told her that its not a big deal everything is fine, and glad the night didn't end up more serious. Then she says, with out thinking, so you want me to come by tomorrow night!? We both lost it. We needed a good laugh after that.
so that was my interesting night!
