Veggies
Please someone tell me how it is that toddler, specifically one that's 13 months old, knows how to "try" to hide their vegetables. I was feeding Kalaia tonight, she was having greenbeans. Well suppose to be. Any way I looked up to tell Bryce something and there is Kalaia banging her bowl upside down on her tray. She hands me the empty bowl and says "milk". Knowing full well she's not getting the milk till she ate some veggies. So I put them all back in the bowl and tried to feed them to her. She kept shaking her head "no". So I put the bowl down on the tray and got up to get a napkin to wipe her with. I look over and there she is throwing them over the side one by one. Smiling she looks up at me and says "milk?". Needless to say at that point I have given up with the greenbeans. I just find it funny that at such a young age she knows that maybe she can get rid of them with out eating them. It just cracks me up.

oh no - what am i in for? i hope elizabeth likes her veggies :) lol. i think thats cute that she is trying to hide them though...seems she takes after her mom in the "picky about food" area :)
I think that Kalaia and I are going to get along just fine... as she grows older we seem to have more and more in common!
