Being Sick

Well my Kalaia woke up last night at about 10:30pm crying. I went in her room to see what the problem was and found her sitting up and throw up was everywhere. I took her out changed her, pulled her crib apart, threw everything in the tub; including her favorite blanket,(thank God I had another one) thinking I would wash it out after. She seemed fine and she wanted to get back in her crib. So I put her back in and left the room. About 20 minutes later I hear her crying again. Went running in knowing what to expect and sure enough, she is sitting up with throw up everywhere again. Took her out, cleaned her up, changed the sheets again, and along with her other favorite blanket it all went in the tub with the rest to be rinsed.now she's crying because all her blankets are dirty in the tub. After a few minutes I remembered I had bought one a while ago and kept it put away. Thank goodness I did that. She carries this really soft blanket around with her everywhere like Linus. So this time I took her to bed with me, and spent the rest of the night catching throw up in dish towels about every 15 minutes. She had nothing left in her. I was tired didn't think of a bowl at the time. About 6:00am I got her to hold some juice. We fell a sleep and woke at about 9:00am to a smell. You'll never guess. Yes now its coming out the other end. So anyway this continued all afternoon with her napping on and off. I have about 3 loads of laundry just from the past 24hours. She spike a fever at about 1:00pm, and it only went up. Finally about 7:30pm she had held some juice so I felt comfortable giving her motrin for her fever which was now at 103.4 . An hour and a half later the fever had drop and she was doing fine. She laid on me and I decided she would probably be more comfortable in her crib. So that's where she is now. I hope we make it though the night.
This "bug" came out of nowhere and left almost excatly 24 hours later as suddenly as it came. It was the oddest thing that I never want to experience again. I hate it when my kids get sick, and there is nothing you can do to help them.
