A few days ago, my friend Julie was over with her 2 month old son. Becky was here and we were chatting in the living room. Julie says " Did anyone ever ask you guys strange questions?" We said, what do you mean? And she said, you know about the babies. Here are some of the questions we were asked.
Under 6 months.
~ You want a cherry tomato?
~ Can she have a lolly pop?
~ Do you need a childrens menu?
~ Do you need a highchair? (they can't even sit up yet and they are in their infant carriers)
~ Is that his real hair color? (like you would dye your infants hair)
Well I am sure there are a lot more, but at the moment i can't think of any. Until she brought it up I thought I was the only one to get asked these questions. I would realy like to know what people are thinking sometimes, or if they are just not paying attention to the world around them.

oh my gosh LOL - recently I was asked the highchair question...but, seriously, coloring the babies hair???
Okay, I feel it's time for me to stand up for the not-nor-have-we-ever-been-knocked-up part of the population. You may think these questions are stupid, but I don't have any kids...how the hell do I know what you can and can't do to them? Sure, I know basic things like they can't go skydiving yet, but why can't they handle a lollipop? cherry tomatos are squishy...why can't they have those? you're a mom, we're not, we're trying to be polite and you knocked up-ees make fun of us for our lack of extreme knowledge in things we don't really know about or care to know about anyway? hmmm. Oh, and also, when it comes to the hair dye....well, people pierce their babies ears (which I think is disgusting and bordering on child abuse), how are we to know the crazies haven't gone a little bit further?
